Announcements for Thursday, May 22, 2003

The National Bar Association (NBA) is identifying candidates for the NBA Crump Law Camp. High School students entering the 9th, 10th and 11th grades in the fall are welcome to apply for a free or, depending on family income, greatly reduced Law Camp to be held in Washington, DC at Howard University School of Law during July 6-19, 2003. The Crump Law Camp will have an open enrollment policy but is geared toward enabling low-income students of color.

All students entering the 9th, 10th and 11th grades in the fall are welcome to apply via NAPABA for the Crump Law Camp. Please note that NAPABA will be accepting applications that are received by June 6th. The Crump Law Camp has been greatly enjoyed by previous camp attendees and sure to be a success this year as well! This is a wonderful opportunity to get a taste for the rigors of law school.

The Crump Law Camp will have an academic and cultural/social component in that the morning part of the day will be in the classroom setting and the afternoon devoted to sightseeing local Washington, DC monuments and museums. All costs, including meals and transportation, are included in the package.

For more information and to obtain an application, please call the Crump Law Camp at (213) 955-8022.

Students interested in being ushers for the Baccalaureate Mass or Graduation are asked to see Ms. Harris by Friday morning.

Kelli Stoddard is asked to report to the Main Office today.

Attention DC residents 15 1/2 years or older: The next session of drivers education behins July 8th at 9:00AM.
