Education for the Future
Archbishop Carroll High School is a Catholic, co-educational, four year college preparatory school founded in 1951 by the late Cardinal Patrick O’Boyle. Archbishop Carroll High School is named in honor of Archbishop John Carroll, the first Catholic Bishop of the United States, and is the only area high school owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Washington. We are accredited by the Middle States Association of College and Schools and the District of Columbia Department of Instruction.
